Walking the Cherbourg Waterfront

Slowly catching up! Hope to actually be posting about where I'm AT soon.

While in Cherbourg, France I took a nice long walk along the waterfront. Between the ferry port and the marina it's a pretty busy waterfront. Though, I'm thinking the dry dock hasn't been used in ages. Was I tempted to check it out up close? Of course! It was seeing the water spraying in thru cracks in the lock that said no way in hell, lol.

The seagulls are pretty slick. Fishing boats had come in to dock and the seagulls were trying to get remnants and leftovers out of the nets.

Also managed to stumble thru the back door of a submersible exhibit. Made it halfway thru the exhibit before I saw a ticket counter and decided I should skidaddle.

Lastly, has anyone besides me noticed I keep stumbling upon and housing in close proximity to pretty cool organizations, like Greenpeace?
