The Cemetery.

Of course I went strolling thru the cemetery while in Paris. As you'll see from th pucs, VERY crowded. Also filled with much beauty and dispair. I don't know who's responsible to mainain the crypts and gravesites, but I'm presuming it must be the families given the condition of some of them. It's sad to see the blatant lack of respect for the dead, given how vandalized and destroyed some where.

Made the obligatory stops at Morrison's grave, as well as Oscar Wilde, Marcel Marceau, and Chopin. Saw graves of presidents and dignitaries. Oh, and stumbled upon a filmingni  progress. Probably a school assignment.

For all the death and sadness filling the cemetery,  it really is filled with tremendous beauty.
