Brussels in a Nutshell

First recollections from my days in Brussels..... super cool hostel (as you can see from the decor), even cooler super cool roomies, and unfortunately,  the stop that cost me my contigo.

The Grand Place is surrounded by beautiful, guilded buildings and lots of fry stands. In the heart of the old city center the streets are narrow and mostly pedestrian only. Did you know Brussels is apparently the comic book capitol of the world? Yeah, me neither. Beautiful churches, of course. A centuries old "mall"for the well to do (see if you can spot it.), and the Royal Palace pretty much wrap up Brussels proper. Venture out further and find street markets and art, random ferris wheels, wonderful ethnic neighborhoods that remind me of home (Cleveland, not FL), and right outside the door of the Hostel, both Groupon AND a WWF office/shop.

Peace out, I'm almost caught up!
