The Blue Mosque, Istanbul, Turkey

First off, I apologize for the poor quality of the photos. I probably should have just used my camera, as the pics on my phone have been getting a little squirrely. That said, these are pics of the stunningly beautiful Blue Mosque in Istanbul. In the courtyard of the compound, outside the mosque proper (I know, I'm lacking the proper terms) was a nice informational display, providing a fair bit of basic info on Islam and the Muslim faith. If you view this on a larger screen like a computer monitor, it will hopefully be easier to read. Hopefully the pics uploaded in the proper order. And please, feel free to express your opinions or provide input. I simply ask that you be respectful in how you do it.

A little additional info, in case I haven't mentioned it. Traditionally, Mosques were more than just a place of worship. From what I've seen and read, they were often whole compounds which also had facilities to provide education, healthcare, and other personal needs of the people.
