Bran Castle, Transylvania, Romania

For the record, Bran castle is NOT the castle wear Vlad the Impaler resided. Yes, he was born in Transylvania,  but he grew up mostly in Turkey under the Ottoman empire and resided also in Wallachia. Bran castle came to be known as Dracula's castle mostly because of Bram Stroker's creativity in mixing and matching fact and fiction in righting his book.

The true residents of Bran castle were King Ferdinand and Queen Marie. That being said, it was still an architecturally interesting place to see.
