So, it's been a busy few days. I was able to extend my hostel 2 more nights thru this morning. Seems my bunk mate (Hello Goodwin!!) and I were in the same proverbial boat this morning, looking for our next place to lay our heads. I found a hostel about an hour outside of Galway that was available for the next three nights, and puts me (I think) in a good position to see the Cliffs of Moher, without being rushed thru the whole thing. So, as I write this, I'm on the train and heading to Galway. Hopefully I'll be there in time to still catch a bus out to Connemara....
The week in Dublin was a great start to my trip. Walked my way straight to blisters my first full day of exploring, but it was well worth it. Spent the next day riding the loops multiple times as I familiarized myself with the easily accessible things to see, and yesterday went museum hopping. Top the day off with a food festival and the gift of a free wine tasting, and it was a great day. I'll attach some pics later, but for now I'm off to figure out how to get from Galway to the hostel.
